Custom websites · Custom software

Your tools should work
as hard as you do.

You didn’t start a service business to spend your time wrestling with templates or duct-taping systems together just to get through the day. I build custom websites that handle your clients, and bespoke platforms that handle the chaos. Everything is drawn entirely around the reality of how your business runs.

No. 01 · What I make

Two ways in, both made to measure.

A website that finally sounds like you, or internal systems that actually work the way you do. Sometimes both.

From $3,500

The Website

Most service websites are just digital brochures that sit there. I build bespoke sites designed around your brand, your services, and the people who actually book with you.

  • Every page designed for your business only
  • An optional AI concierge to answer the endless questions at any hour
  • You own the domain, the site, and every word outright

Scoped from $12,000

The Platform

Systems shaped around the way your business already survives the day: booking flows, client portals, and the internal tools that keep everything upright. I scope it first, in writing, so the price is settled before the build ever begins.

  • Built around your real Tuesday afternoon, not somebody’s demo
  • A written blueprint with a fixed price, settled before the build
  • Working tools you can click and test every single week
No. 02 · The work

Custom concepts, out in the wild.

From handling midnight client questions to running the entire back office. Here is what it looks like when a system is built specifically to take the heavy lifting off your plate.

No stock photos, no invented anything. Everything on the work page is real, live, and clickable today.

No. 03 · Truly custom

What custom actually means.

Plenty of sites and platforms get called custom just because someone swapped the colors on a template. Here is what it means when I say it.

It starts with your day

The first questions are never about fonts. They are about your schedule, your services, your policies, and the things your phone will not stop ringing about.

Drawn from a blank file

Layout, type, color, every screen: designed around your brand and your people. If you handed your site or system to a different business, it would stop making sense. That is the point.

Written together

The words matter just as much as the design. Instead of making you stare at a blank page, you complete a targeted, async intake about your day-to-day operations. Your site ends up sounding exactly like you, without the generic brochure speak.

If a template could do your business justice, I would tell you to buy the template.

No. 04 · A letter from me

Hi, I’m Cat.

For twenty years I was in the dog grooming business, and ten years ago I opened Lavish Dog, a grooming salon with two locations. Pets and design have always pulled at me in equal measure, along with a real love for building “work smarter, not harder” systems and helping business owners get out of their own way as the bottleneck. Afterload is where all of that comes together: a custom built website or platform that does the same for you.

Whatever your problem is, I would love to hear it. Solving your problems is my passion.

Warmly,

Cat

And for software

The Blueprint

$1,500

A short async intake maps out exactly what you need. You get a written roadmap and a fixed price for the build. It is yours to keep, and credited in full if I do the building.

The Core Tool

from $12,000

One specific system built properly to fix a bottleneck, like a custom booking flow, a client portal, or a tool your whole day leans on.

The Platform

from $25,000

The full operational build, for the business that wants everything living in one calm place.

Quotes land between $12,000 and $40,000, and the number is fixed in the blueprint before a single line of code.

After launch, if you would like me around

Lights On$150/moTended$450/moPartner$1,500/mo

Projects are half to begin and half at launch, with 30 days of fixes included. You own all of it outright: domain, site, code, and content. Everything keeps working if you ever leave. If you would like me to stick around to keep things updated and running smoothly, optional care plans run from $150 to $1,500 a month and can be canceled anytime.

No. 06 · Fair questions

Asked often, answered straight.

What do you need from me to get started?

An email about your business is plenty. From there, we have one kickoff conversation covering your services, prices, policies, the way you talk to clients, and any photos you have. That conversation, plus honest answers about how your days really go, is most of what I need. I take it from there and check in as the work takes shape.

Do I have to write the website copy myself?

No, and please do not let that worry stop you. We write the words together in one working session: you talk about your business the way you would with a favorite client, and I shape that into the pages. The site ends up sounding like you, because it started with you.

What if I already have a website?

Then we are not starting from zero. Your domain stays yours, anything that still serves you comes along, and the rest is designed from a blank file around the business you run now, not the one you had when the old site went up. The new site goes live on your domain when it is ready, so nothing goes dark in between.

Can you connect the site to my booking system?

Yes. Booking integration is part of the website work, so the site links straight into the system you already use and new clients land exactly where you want them. And if the booking system itself is the thing that fights you, custom booking and scheduling software is the other half of what I build.

What happens after launch if something breaks or I want changes?

You are not left on your own. Every project includes 30 days of fixes after launch, and if you would like me around after that, care plans start at $150 a month, month to month, cancel anytime. Either way, the person who answers is the person who built it. And you own the domain, the site, and the content outright, so everything keeps working even if you step away.

The next step

Does this sound like a good fit?

A few quick questions, and I will tell you what I would build, what it would cost, and whether I am the right person for it. If I am not, I will say so and point you toward someone better suited.
